Creating A Burner

You can create a new Burner number as part of your subscription or as a prepaid number.

To do so, first, make sure you are in the Inbox for 'All Numbers', Tap the Gear icon from the Main Screen located at the top right, then tap Burner Numbers, then  + Create Number, then choose the type of number you'd like from the options available.

You can select 'Subscription Number', 'Verified Number' (for iOS only), or 'Prepaid Number'.

The app will display 5 choices in your area code, unless we do not have that are code available.

If we're out of stock for numbers in the area code you have selected, numbers from area codes nearby will be displayed instead. New numbers are released daily.

If you don't like any of the numbers, you can tap "Pick a different area code".

When you're ready, tap the number you wish to claim as your own. 

Note: If a pop up says "Oops, cannot create phone number," that means someone purchased it before you (this rarely occurs, but it does occasionally happens—our purchases process in real-time). 

That's it - you're all set! When your selection has completed, you'll see "Here is your new number!", and the app will take you to your new Burner Details screen.
